Every year, a maximum of seven (7) alumni may be awarded. The following categories shall be considered in the nomination:

 
With Impact in terms of Local, Regional, National, International Level

·  Business, Commerce, Agriculture: Business Pioneers, Social Entrepreneurship, Business Leadership, Industrial Development, Banking, Finance,  Agribusiness Management, Organic Farming, Soil Science, Food and Science and Technology, other related fields.

· Church Involvement, Community Service, Social Responsibility: Lay, Religious, Diocesan; Medical, Humanitarian Service, Rural, Regional or Countryside Development, Youth Leadership, Cultural Communities; Economic, Social, Environmental Sustainability, other related fields. 

​

·  Government and Public Service:  Military, Public Services and Public Administration, other related fields.
 
· Education / Research: Social Education, Educational System Management, Innovative System, Transformative Education, Educators, Innovation, Applied Research, Scholarly  Endeavors, other related fields.     

​

· Science, Technology and/or Engineering: Architecture, Biochemistry, Climate Change, Engineering Sciences, Green Technology, Nuclear Energy, Geological Science and other related fields.
 
·  Sports, Arts and Culture: Athletes, Sports Achievements, Sports Sciences, Sports Leadership, Films, Music, Painting, Photography, Radio, Woodworking, Sculpture, Metalworking, Dance and other related fields.

·  President’s Special Award may be given to an individual or group of alumni based on his/her contribution to De La Salle Lipa and/or community.

​

The awardees will be selected by a panel of judges created for the purpose initiated by the Alumni Linkages Office therefore nominators are excluded from serving on the selecting panel.
