Mr. Mario Mamon

Gawad Alumni, or the Blessed Br. Arnould Reche FSC Distinguished Alumni Award, De La Salle Lipa's outstanding alumni was bestowed to Mr. Mario O. Mamon (business and commerce category).  This year's awardees, together with families, friends, and DLSL's administrators, convened at the awarding ceremony held April 4, 2013 at the Diokno Auditorium of Sen. Jose Diokno Hall.  Mr. Mamon , HS '70, is the president of Enchanted Kingdom and recipient of multiple business-related awards.

Mr. Mario is a recipient of  CEO Excel or Communication Excellence in Organization Awards by the International Association of Business Communicators Philippines.  The award is given to executives in the private sector, in government and in non-government organizations who have successfully utilized communication in advancing the reputation, enhancing the performance or achieving major stakeholders objectives of their companies.

He is the first industry executive from Asia to lead Worldwide Attractions Association.  The International Assoc. of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Board of Directors elected Mr. Mamon (3rd Vice Chairman) to lead the group in 2014.

He is an awardee of the UPLB Distinguished Alumnus Award for Entrepreneurship in 2008.

Enchanted Kingdom (EK) received Sta. Rosa CSR Award. Since its inception, EK has always opened its gates to countless foundations, NGOs, etc. that care for children.  It waived admission fees and host their visits with refreshments, gifts and games and also donates funds for the card of the sick, needy, underprivileged children of the country.  Through its Celebrity Storytelling Program, EK Brings together the country's best authors in children's literature, book illustrators and celebrities.  The project seeks to help children discover and rekindle the joy and adventure of reading by presenting our local authors and book illustrators as meaningful role models for kids.
